Leadership

Rev. Roy & Ann Humphrey

Founder | Executive Director

The Humphrey’s started their first military fellowship group in Mannheim, Germany in 1957 and have worked continuously in various capacities across the globe since. Because of their dedication and ministry, they are well known all over the world by military people who know their undying faithfulness to the Ministry to the Military.

Roy received his vision of this Humanitarian ministry while he was the Far East Representative of the MTTM.

The ministry began with a big decision to be made. What would the consequences be at the closure of Clark Air Base? What would be the future of the Servicemen’s Center in the Philippines now that American servicemen had left the country? These questions were foremost in the minds of Roy and Ann Humphrey along with a dedicated Filipino pastor Reverend Bong Tiru, along with the Ordillo family who had a similar vision to give hope rather than abandon the remnant, the depressed population victimized by the Mt. Pinatubo eruption. As they worked among the people, The Clarkview Servicemen’s Center was completely rebuilt and stands along side the best constructed buildings in Angeles City where the Lord is still blessing the Ministry to the Military.

The Humphrey Humanitarian Ministries (HHM) moved into an area where poverty, sin and people with little hope of a bright future lived. The HHM started in 1996, the Humphrey’s genuine love, dedication and commitment began to impact the people they ministered to; many of whom were inspired to work hard side-by-side with them. From its inception, the Lord greatly blessed the ministry as He revealed His greater plan.

God validated their ministry with miracles of salvation and healings. Gilda Ordillo along with her husband joined the HHM ministry team fulfilling a vision that the Lord had given them many years earlier. HHC was named in honor of the late parents of Roy L. Humphrey. With the help of the Humphrey family, properties were purchased and the ministry has continued to expand,. Many projects are now underway in order to serve the community in a more lasting way. Because of his years of involvement with Military ministry. Brother Humphrey has been able to receive medical supplies and most importantly, to have military medical personnel come to the Philippine campus to perform medical missions. This is just another reason why we need the multi-purpose building now under construction. Is your church or program looking for a service project? The Humphrey's are available to give a presentation with slides to help your people catch the vision. A tour of the work in the Philippines with your group helping disperse food, school supplies or clothing is available. On a smaller but much needed scale, families in the church may sponsor a kid for $ 100.00 to pay for registration and buy uniforms, school supplies for the school year. They will be showered with informative letters and it would be an education in giving and learning. A Sunday School class could "adopt a kid" to send clothing and school supplies or send shoeboxes of gifts for Christmas. The call to ministry is boundless! All gestures are received with love and appreciation.

“He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; (makes a loan to the Lord)
and that which he hath given will he pay him again: (the Lord will repay)
Proverbs 19:17
